Room for Success

 "I don't want to live on Social Security anymore."  This was the first thing I said to Carmen Hamilton, Training Services Manager in our initial meeting.  Little did I know, 5 years later, I would be a full time employee for the organization that helped me become the person I am today. 

 

TRAINING... I came to ODC after dealing with homelessness and barriers with getting a job. I had no vehicle, no driver's license, no place to live.  As an individual that once served in the National Guard and being a cook for most of my adult life, I wanted a change of pace in my life.  I heard about ODC while I was living at the Mission and was enrolled in the Training Services Program. ODC closes after 44 years...


ODC will begin wind down of the agency's operations beginning July 1st, pending changes from the state. All clinical services offered to individuals with disabilities and other life barriers will cease as of July 1st. If you have questions, please contact ODC at 309.820.0723.
